Hi there, This is the first Early Literacy E-Bulletin for Kingston and the Islands Early Childhood Educators. My goal is to provide you with easy to access information, best-practice ideas and resources to use with young children. I will send the E-Bulletin one time per month. If you do not want to receive the Early Literacy E-Bulletin, email me and I will take your name off my list. If you know someone who might want to receive the E-Bulletin, ask them to email or telephone me and I will put their address on my list. Emergent Literacy à la Carte is a self guided, on-line training package developed by the Centre for Expertise in Family Literacy. The training includes six essential emergent literacy skills including phonemic awareness.
